Sr. UX/UI Digital Experience Supervisor

Job Summary

The Senior UX/UI (User Experience/User Interface) Digital Experience Supervisor has an eye for detail, strong design expertise, knowledge about design systems and is passionate about designing experiences for people. He/she empathizes with user needs, feelings, and emotions, and absorbs constructive feedback to create simple, useful, and appealing digital products. This person is excited about the opportunity to help us move the world forward by delivering what matters.  This person works cross-functionally to create, optimize, and contribute to the global UPS design system, fostering human centered design innovation, research, clear communication, and documentation. This position creates cohesive user experiences and user interface designs, supports static and motion graphics, and provides and supports UX/UI strategy adhering to design standards and accessibility compliance.

Job Description

• Fosters design thinking to empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test and document designs advocating for the user
• Leverages data, competitive, comparative, and best in class examples to promote and support customer experiences
• Ensures quality and integrity of designs are maintained from inception to production
• Clearly communicates narrative to teams, facilitating collaboration among stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.
• Monitors project activities to ensure governance, standards, and policies compliance
• Documents newly created interaction models, user/task flows and screen designs to ensure consistency, reusability, and future optimization.
• Collaborates with other designers promoting an inclusive and positive working environment

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Possesses working knowledge of Figma or similar collaborative interface design and prototyping tool
• Displays digital fluency and experience using design systems and design documentation 
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possesses a portfolio showing UX/UI examples
• Bachelor's Degree of Interaction Design or UX/UI related field

Preferences:

• Illustration, Motion Animation and/or Video editing skills a plus
• Working knowledge and understanding of HTML/CSS, JAVA
