UPS Supply Chain Solutions is currently seeking a Customs and Trade Advisory Services Growth Manager, a performance-driven growth marketer to help us scale up our Customs and Trade Advisory solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience and strong interest in both business and analytics, and must be comfortable in a customer-facing position. He/She will be the customer's trusted advisor and subject matter expert for everything STTAS UPS-related, and should be comfortable with discussing product capabilities and communicating the customer's voice internally.

The Customs and Trade Advisory Services Growth Manager ensures that large and complex Trade Advisory Services programs and projects follow the project management discipline (i.e., initiation, planning, executing, controlling and monitoring, and closing) and internal project management standards, ultimately leading to desired results (i.e., revenue generation, cost savings, cost avoidance, and benefits to the organization). Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develops and executes strategic growth programs
  • Formulates account strategies and solutions
  • Provides TMS project management support
  • Manages and develops project teams 
  • Develops process maps
  • Oversees implementation phases for multiple teams
  • Oversees project budgets
  • Manages and develops others

Knowledge and Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under minimal supervision with a high attention to detail
  • Proven analytical, verbal/written communication, customer service, and time management skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access, if necessary)
  • Knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection Regulations
  • Available to travel
  • 2+ years' experience as a Growth Manager managing a high volume of accounts and/or driving effective growth programs
  • Master’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
  • Customs Broker License - Preferred
  • International Trade, Logistics or Freight Forwarding experience - Preferred
  • Minimum of three years' general office experience - Preferred
