Tractor trailer drivers

As a tractor trailer driver–also known as a feeder driver–you’ll drive for a respected company, earn highly competitive pay and be supported with great benefits including a pension plus 401(k) plan. What's the typical shift?

8-10 hours

What type of routes will I run?

Routes will be to UPS facilities and/or to UPS customers, so you're home after each shift.

What qualifications do I need?

You must have a valid class A commercial driver’s license. You need to pass a UPS road test and a DOT physical. You may need a doubles/triples endorsement depending on your location.

How will I be paid?

Hourly on a weekly basis, and with competitive industry pay. You’ll get a Health & Welfare package including medical, dental and vision benefits, pension plus 401(k) plan.

Sleeper team drivers

As a sleeper team driver, you'll drive for a respected company, earn competitive pay, great benefits including a pension plus 401(k) plan. Teaming with another UPSer, you'll alternate driving on long hauls between UPS facilities in our well-maintained trucks. Routes are a mix of regional and cross-country. Search Jobs now.

What's the typical shift?

On road 4-6 days per week for trips of roughly 4,700 miles.

How will I be paid?

Mileage pay for driving, and hourly pay for wait time and required training. You’ll get a health and welfare package including medical, dental and vision benefits, pension plus 401(k) plan.

What kind of regions?

Some cross-country and some regional; Depends on network and time of year.

What type of routes will I run?

Long hauls are from UPS facilities to other UPS facilities. Day and night driving alternating with another driver in a sleeper cab. Loading/Unloading will be done for you.
